End of September and Beginning of October

Hello, it is me again!
Since 59 days I am in the USA now. That means almost two months! The time flies so fast!

On september 24 I went with my hostdad to an island close to Boston. We went by a boat there and back again. The view from the boat was amazing! The whole day was wonderful and I am soglad we did this trip!

The past week from October 3rd to October 7th it was the spirit week in the Duxbury High School.
We had for each day an different theme: on Monday was the Army vs. Navy Day, on Tuesday the America Day, on Wednesday the pop culture Day, on Thursday the class day and on Friday decades day. Almost the whole school dressed up everyday of the week and it was a lot of fun!!!
At the end of the spirit week in the last block on Friday we had a pep rally. IT WAS INSANE!

This was my first blog post in English. I hope you forgive me when I did some grammar or spelling mistakes. I did it because it is easier for my Croatian part of my family to read it.

My dear family, friends, and readers, I hope everybody is well. I am doing amazing and I have a lot to tell you about! Because the lacrosse season came to the end in about the middle of this month, I have now more time to do more activities with my friends and family outside of the school and outside of the house. The days also get longer and warmer and much more enjoyable, although we had a lot of rain too. Dear readers, Forgive my delay with my March update! Even though not much happened during the months of March, the end of the month turned out very well. I had a little down during the week that I was sick in and during the grey and rainy days. I reached the point where I know exactly how it is here in my host community and I am not learning and experiencing as much as I used to during the first 5 months, which makes me very excited to go home again and sometimes also a little home sick. At the beginning of March, I had a host family appreciation event from AFS, where all the exchange students from our area team came together to say thank you to our host families.  Towards the end of the month I went on a school trip with 500 other students from Duxbury High School. Snow, Skiing and NYC!

Hallo, Bok, Salut, Hola, Howdy, It is me again with many new captured memories and experiences.   I had the chance to go to skiing with a girl from Paraguay’s host family. We left on a Friday a night after a snow day. That week we had only school from Monday to Wednesday, because of a snowstorm. We went to New Hampshire to a skiing area called Pats Peak. It was a pretty small area, but the snow was great. Stereotypically I am used to bigger skiing areas. The girl from Pakistan and one of the girls from Italy came on the skiing trip too, which made the whole trip even better. We had to leave New Hampshire early on Sunday morning again, because there was a snow storm coming up again and we would have been stuck in New Hampshire until Tuesday. The Snow storm that came on Sunday afternoon caused another snow day on Monday. For New York City, I left on Friday, one day before vacation started, which meant I had a three-days school week again.
