My dearest family and friends, Tomorrow is my 80ieth day in the US. Soo many things happened already and I met sooo many people. Last Friday I was invited to come to the Marshfield High in the town next to Duxbury, to talk about my life at home and my experience here. The whole event started on Thursday with a pizza party with the AFS club from Marshfield and the exchange students. We were about 8 exchange students and about 15 from the AFS club. After the pizza party every exchange student went home with one of the AFS club members. My host for the next two nights was Mackenzie, a senior. On Friday our day started very early because the school in Marshfield begins at 7:15 a.m. (People who know me well know how awful it is for me wake up at 6:00). End of September and Beginning of October

Hello, it is me again! Since 59 days I am in the USA now. That means almost two months! The time flies so fast! On september 24 I went with my hostdad to an island close to Boston. We went by a boat there and back again. The view from the boat was amazing! The whole day was wonderful and I am soglad we did this trip! We had for each day an different theme: on Monday was the Army vs. Navy Day, on Tuesday the America Day, on Wednesday the pop culture Day, on Thursday the class day and on Friday decades day. Almost the whole school dressed up everyday of the week and it was a lot of fun!!! At the end of the spirit week in the last block on Friday we had a pep rally. IT WAS INSANE! My dear family and friends at home, mir geht es gut! Ich bin jetzt schon über ein Monat in Duxbury und habe ca. drei Wochen Schule hinter mir. Die Schule ist sehr streng und ziemlich anders als die Schule zu Hause. Es wird alles benotet was man in der Schule macht und auch Hausaufgaben werden im Vergleich zu meiner Schule zu Hause sehr ernst genommen. Ich habe ein paar Fächer gewechselt, weil es mir zu schwer war, unter anderem wegen der Sprache, aber auch weil es viel zu viel Hausaufgaben waren und ich mir das nicht gewöhnt bin. Alles was mit der Schule zu tun hat, ist mit sehr grossem Noten-und Leistungsdruck verbunden und zu viel für mich. Wegen der Überforderung von der Schule aus und noch ein paar anderen Gründen, die ich selber nicht weiss, hatte ich meine erste Kriese und hatte ziemlich Heimweh. Dies war auch der Auslöser, wieso ich die Fächer gewechselt habe, um mir das Leben ein bisschen einfacher zu machen. Nun geht es mir wieder gut und ich bin sehr dankbar meiner Gastmu...
